With American Action Fund, you’re helping blind and deaf-blind individuals, not an organization. In fact, families who receive Braille books, Braille calendars, and more don’t receive a bill for anything.
“The Free Braille Books program from the American Action Fund sends out a Braille book every single month. It is a way to build up her own personal Braille library because my daughter can't go into a regular school library or a regular public library and just pick from books like her peers. So as somebody who is a huge advocate for Braille, I want to find ways to make sure that my child has access to reading materials.” – Blind mom
“When you're reading with your fingers, it's like the fingers have eyes on them. I look forward to receiving the Braille Books for Blind Children every month because they can keep me motivated and help me.” – Blind child
“I am a 100% blind disabled veteran who reads a little Braille. The Braille calendar I receive from the American Action Fund helps me to schedule events and dates on hand. I have met several blind adults in my community, and we share information about events and accessories for the blind.” – Blind veteran
“The Braille Reading Pals program is such a terrific program. Children receive a print/Braille book so that the family can read together and a cute little stuffed animal because who doesn't want a friend to read with.” – Parent of a blind child
We need your help to distribute free Braille books, free Braille calendars, and more. The easiest way to contribute is to become a regular donor by giving monthly.
